About the Owner

Rich Mills, owner of RKM Property Management, LLC, spent 20 years in financial services prior to starting RKM in 2008.

Rich left the financial services industry as a senior executive and officer with the second largest life insurer in North America to develop RKM’s business plan and strategy prior to the planned 2008 launch.

Rich was responsible for the successful integration of the firm’s acquired infrastructure; including consolidation, and designing state of the art service models post acquisition. Of note, was the successful integration of the firm’s infrastructure in 2006 after the firm purchased one of the US’ oldest financial institutions, and most trusted household names. Throughout his career, Rich has overseen organizations with budget responsibility up to $60M annually, and has been responsible for many different lines of business, including Infrastructure, Real Estate/Investigative Services Support, Administration, Production Support, Development, and Project Management; however, Rich’s core skill that has made him successful is Customer Relationship Management – regardless of the service, Rich understands how critical it is to ensure his customers are provided with superior service.

Rich has developed and overseen small to large construction projects locally, including developing a condominium association.

Now, years later, RKM has grown into a viable competitive property management company while staying true to its mission of providing superior care and service to its growing list of customers.

Rich Holds an BSBA/CIS, MBA, and Masters of CIS from Suffolk University and is a member of  CIA – Condominium Institute Association; National and New England Chapters.
